My Mom calls.
Mom: We’re buying tickets for Linkin Park on Feb 16th, want to come?
Me: Is that a weekend?
Mom: Yes, Saturday the 16th.
Me: Ok, sure! Thanks!
We hang up. A few days later I get a forwarded email from her. It looks like this:
Wait. What? Vegas? Eventually the confusion subsides…
Me: Blaine, apparently that Linkin Park Concert is in Vegas and my mom failed to realize that was an important piece of information when asking if we wanted to come. Can you text your mom to pet sit?
Fast Forward to Yesterday…
Me: You know we’re going to Vegas right?
Sister: We’re going to Vegas?
Communication: my family is terrible at it.
