I sit here with 4 dogs laying all around me. They all want to lay by my feet, but they just won’t fit and it’s just TOO hot to have doggies laying all over my feet. Trying to muster up the motivation to finish up my To Do List from this weekend. I’m pretty much done, though I’ve still got some work to do on the website and my “studio”. Is it weird that I’d rather call it a Studio than a Craft Room/Office? It just sounds better to me, so I’m going to stick with it.
I’m about a month into school at this point and already can’t wait for the semester to be over. My calculus teacher is one of those teachers that calls on people, she literally goes down her list and calls on everyone at least once. It drives me insane. It does make me pay attention, but all I do the whole class is to try and stay one step ahead so that if I do get called on I don’t sound like a complete idiot. Isn’t that weird? I’m not really one to care what people think, but at the same time I don’t want people to think I’m dumb. Then again – it’s hard not to feel dumb in a Calculus class. I get it for the most part during class, until I get home and completely forget everything I’ve learned. This is why “Study for Calculus” is on my list of things to do. We have a review class on Monday and our first exam on Wednesday. Ugh.
On different note – I’m sooo getting to the point where I’m OVER clutter. I almost want to give up all hobbies of mine (cough-sewing/crafting-cough) that create clutter. My dad giving me his office to use as my studio really did help a lot because it’s not all in my room, but I still feel very cramped. Mostly because there was already his stuff in here so I just piled mine in on top of it. I love my family to death and I love seeing them everyday, but I really just need my own adult space. I know Blaine is probably feeling cramped here. Especially in my shabby chic little girl room. Poor guy! We just really HATE the idea of renting. Plus – finding a place to rent that will take all our furbabies? Pretty much impossible. So we’re stuck here until we can buy. I can’t complain though, my parents WANT us to live here and save money. The cheapest apartments around here are $1200, so I just try to look at it as saving $1200 from going down the drain each month. We’ll see where we go from here.
Now I’m off to finish cleaning/studying/whatever else I can get myself to finish up. Although, I would really like a nap… I’ll be back later today or tomorrow with some pictures from this weekend. Nothing too eventful, but a pleasant weekend for sure!
