This post is a month and a half overdue, I know. I’m still waiting on all of the photos from the photographer, but I managed to steal these from her blog.We got married on October 22nd, 2011. The location was Camp Seely, a campsite with cabins that my family has been going to pretty much every year since I was in elementary school. I planned pretty much every detail myself. The food was made by my cousin and her husband, along with various friends and family who lent a hand in the camp kitchen. The official photographer was a classmate from elementary school while several of my uncles took pictures as well. I wanted to make sure the pressure was off of my photographer uncle to just relax and have fun.
I cannot thank everyone who helped enough. My bridesmaids, Blaine’s mom and family friend arranged the flowers and made all the bouquets from the flowers we picked up at the flower market in downtown LA the day before. Blaine’s mom did a ton from sewing the napkins to helping collect jars and plates. My sister helped me with tons of details the weeks leading up to the wedding like the treats we put in jars as favors. I could go on and on about all the help we had, but it would take eons. We are soo lucky to have friends and family who are ready and willing to lend a helping hand.
All in all it was perfect. The photographer and hair stylist even mentioned that they were amazed at how calm and happy everyone was and that people weren’t running around stressed out. I made it a point to enjoy the entire day leading up to the wedding because it had been something I had been planning my entire life and mostly for the last several months.
Without further adieu, the amazing wedding photos. About half the guests spent the night in one of the 60 cabins we rented out, so I’ll eventually be posting photos from the rest of the weekend as well.

cute post! congrats. being married is awesome! enjoy it! x
Congratulations! Your wedding looks like it was magical! 🙂
Thank you, it definitely was! I couldn’t have wished for anything better.
What a beautiful wedding. I love that you had the toppings for the cupcakes on the side. That’s a really cute idea.
Thanks! I’m one of those indecisive people who are like “OMG, what if someone wants a vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting and if we only make chocolate on chocolate, they’ll be sad!” So we came up with this idea which turned out great!
you got married on my 21st birthday! 🙂 so so so gorgeous
What a beautiful wedding! I especially love you favors!
I have a quick question. From reading your blog I see that you are a vegetarian and it looks like the pictures you posted are of meat-less dishes. Did you have meat at your wedding? If not, how did your guests respond to this? My fiance and I are vegetarians and REALLY want to go meatless for the wedding however we get comments daily about us not eating meat and are worried how people will react.
Thank you! We did not have meat at our wedding and we were actually surprised that we didn’t get any complaints.
Now, before the wedding when people found out we were considering going meatless, people got irritated. But I think out of politeness and the fact that they realized the food was still delicious, no one made comments once the wedding day came or even after the fact. Honestly, just stick with what you want. Your guests will live just fine with one meatless meal.
Because ours was an event that lasted a couple of days we did give in and have a few meat dishes at other meals just because we knew people would be dramatic about not eating meat for an entire 1-2 days. There wasn’t much meat in the few dishes that contained it, however, so we don’t feel all that bad. But if your wedding is a traditional, one day event, go meatless! Your guests will hardly notice with all the excitement going on.
Looked like the perfekt wedding! 🙂 Hope you had as much fun as I did on mine!

Hi. I LOVE your bouquet! Any chance you could tell me the flowers you included?
They are Gerbera Daisies from a flower market and Sunflowers (from costco website delivered to our house). I don’t remember what the tiny flowers were called. Hope that helps!
