Honeymoon Photos!! What better way to celebrate a month of love? Someone *ahem* may have taken 585 photos over the course of our trip which lasted October 26th – November 3rd, 2011. Yeah – that someone was me. I’m glad I did, too! It may be a pain in the butt to scale them all down to size for a blog post, but well… going through them has been so much fun!
Needless to say, this will be spread out over several posts throughout the month. You know, February. Love month. It works, just go with it. The following covers our first three days in Puerto Vallarta.
We were there 9 days and our goal was a budget of $500 total. About $55 a day, for 3 meals a day for 2 people (x9 days) PLUS transportation PLUS activities PLUS souvenirs. Sounds impossible, huh? We didn’t make it, but we came in under $650. Not too bad.
Puerto Vallarta was SO SO fun, we loved it so much we’re hoping to go back soon. I’m so glad we decided to “splurge” (in our minds at least, probably still cheaper than most honeymoons) on our honeymoon and take a big trip. 100% worth it.

Blaine told me to stop being a creeper when I took this. I’m just observing the locals, gosh. |

You can’t see it, but this store had a ton of amazing furniture. If only I could’ve gotten a truckload to bring back. |

We were on the third floor, next to the pool, room 310. |

Yes, the pool was on the 2nd floor. Above a restaurant. It kind of freaked me out. |

How cute are these little girls? Blaine accused me of being a creeper again, though. |

Ahh! My handsome husband. Officially married less than a week at this point <3 |

Do you see what I see?? |

HIM! (or her? I wasn’t really paying attention.) |

Of course we paid $3 for this photo. A few days later we saw him tied to a pole at a intersection. |

Straight ahead is the bakery we stopped at almost every night for cheap deliciousness. See a few photos down. |

One of our two favorite restaurants. There will be more photos, I’m sure. Cheap and delicious. We later learned if you order in spanish, it’s cheaper. For realsies. |

Our first stop at the bakery. My excited face is because of how cheap everything is! |

The resorts several miles away. I’m so glad we picked to stay where we did so we could walk where ever. |

We spent a lot of time watching Pelicans dive. And trying to get action shots. |

I wanted to steal this gate and take it home. It’s my color! |

WE FOUND A VEGETARIAN BUFFET! Best. Ever. We ate there like 5x. Maybe more. Seriously. |

We’d say hi to these guys every night. They hung out at the entrance to the hotel and disappeared during the day. |
Well that’s part one. I’ll probably break down the photos into a total of 3 posts. And maybe throw a random wedding photo post in there since I got the remaining photos from the photographer.
Have a good weekend!!
