I’m one of those people who get excited about Monday’s, fresh planners and new beginnings. So a fresh new year gets me so giddy with excitement. Last year I gave myself a little set of goals, let’s see how I did, shall we?
12 Goals for 2012
Basically in conclusion… I mostly failed. Oh gosh. But really, the things that I did do, like the weekly meal plans, the beginnings of filling my house with photos and creating an inspiring studio, I’m happy about those. What about goals for 2013? I’m keeping it simple.
52 new recipes. 12 new habits. no more debt.
52 New Recipes // I actually really love being in the kitchen creating yummy, healthy, vegetarian meals. I’ll be good about cooking for a couple of weeks and then get into a week or two long rut where I don’t feel like cooking so it’s snacking, pizza and going out for us. This year I’m giving myself a goal to try 52 new recipes and I’m excited to get started!
12 New Habits // Each month I’m going to focus on one new habit, just one. Then I’m going to keep at it for a month and re-evaluate when the month is over to see if I’d like to continue or not. For January my new habit is warm lemon water. I’ve heard so, so many good things about this. Just google it and you’ll see. At the end of the month if I’m loving it, I’ll continue and if not I’m allowed to stop. Either way February will bring on another new habit. I’m hoping that by the end of the hear I’ll pick up and keep a few new good/healthy habits.
No More Debt // Without giving too much backstory, we’re finally at a point where we can start to pay stuff off. In 2013 we plan to pay off the rest of our debt with the exception of cars, student loans and our mortgage. I can’t even express what a wight off my shoulder this will be!
