Blaine and I just got home from seeing This Is 40. I absolutely loved it and I hope I’m that equally amazing and terrible in 15 years. Today was spent just driving around, yard sales, thrifting, eating, hanging out. That’s what we tend to do on weekends now. Such a thrilling life, I tell you. I honestly don’t even know how we spent so much time doing nothing, but it’s just what I needed. Last week was busy, busy and next week will be busier. As I suspected, design requests have increased after the holidays which is both good and hectic!
Tomorrow I’m guessing I’ll work a bit so I can get through next week with just a bit less stress. I also want to do some house-ish stuff. I have at least three collage frame sets to get photos into and get on the wall. Maybe I’ll actually get to that.
P.S. Did you notice the new blog design? The last one didn’t last long, but I think this one might stick around for a while because I absolutely love it. Still simple, but just a little less simple with more fun added in.
Onto the links! Feel free to share some of your favorite recent finds in the comments ๐
I may have shared this before. It’s a video on 7 different braid styles, one for each day of the week! I love braids and mixing it up is so fun.
Coconut Tea. This stuff is so yummy and just slightly coconutty. I drank it everyday (sometimes 2-3x) and got tired of it, but now I’m starting crave it all the time again.
If you paint your nails at home, you NEED Essie’s Good To Go. Anytime I don’t use this my polish is smudged within an hour. It dries your nails incredible fast.
Love owls? Need a calendar. Print away, my dear.
Minimum Wage Machine. Such an interesting idea.
I NEED THIS TOTE. “On Wednesdays we wear pink.” (Side note: Mean girls came out 9 years ago. WTF.)
Infographic of 100 Social Networking Statistics & Facts for 2012. I’m obsessed with infographics. For everything.
I’m in the process (slow process) of making a book of my instagrams from 2012 over at Artifact Uprising.
This quote. I can totally see me putting this on everything, all over my house.
