I don’t know how it’s already December. Seriously. The year has flown by and I feel like I haven’t done a damn thing! Don’t you hate that? I feel like there was more I could have done whether it be work, travel, home stuff, etc. But I’m going to let myself slide for the year and not worry about that kind of stuff anymore. It’s December! I love December because it’s just so cozy and warm. We started using our wood burning stove recently and it makes the whole house just feel so… cozy! Guess how many times I’m going to say the word “cozy” in this one post?
We have a lot going on in December, but I know we’re not alone. Our roommate is moving in at the end of the week which we’re excited and nervous about. We have a Christmas party this weekend down in LA that we’ll be going to. Of course there’s Christmas Eve and Christmas day. I have some shopping to do, though we’re trying to keep it on budget and give small, meaningful gifts this year. And of course with December comes planning for the next year which I’m always so excited about. I have so many plans for this blog, work, my other blog, etc.
I hope you’re all having a lovely December so far and staying warm! We were in LA yesterday for Motor 4 Toys and I was sweating! I guess I’m used to the cold now and being dressed in boots and a sweater when it was in the mid-70’s was killing me. I almost stayed home and let Blaine go alone, but I decided to tag along and I’m glad I did. I need to get out of this house more often, especially in the winter when I’m locked inside all day. Today, I’m going to try and squeeze in a little walk mid-day. I’ve stopped walking every morning about a month ago when it started to get really cold and was still dark when I got up, so I think I’m going to try and do mid-day walks from now on.
I’d love to hear how you manage to fit a little exercise in on cold days so leave a comment below. I need to hop back on the pilates bandwagon, too. Once it gets cold, I find it so hard to be motivated!
Happy December and bring on the holiday cheer!
